What is a Mascot?
A mascot is a character, animal, person or object that acts as a company's visual figure to aid with marketing presence. The mascot is an extremely valuable addition to a company's brand and image. It's more than a logo, it's a conceptual representation of the company or business in question.
Think of the honey monster from those sugar puff ads, or how about the Direct Line insurance telephone on wheels? It's hard not to think of them when considering those particular brands. And it just goes to show you how powerful it can be to have a mascot relatable to your company, products or services.

The Design Stages
All our designs are created uniquely to the clients requirements. We do not use third-party clipart or vector imagery of any kind. All our designs and commissioned work are created using initial hand drawn sketches and developed, retouched, coloured and finalised electronically.
Following our initial brief we then get to work on some initial sketches and ideas. We work on the character development in terms of look, feel, colour and motion. Particular character attributes, stance or pose may be suggested by the client to help us with the development. These sketches are then provided to the client for review and to help gather feedback. This process continues until the client is happy with the designs. We then move onto the colouring, highlighting, 3-D shading and shadow effects (if required).
The final rendered design(s) are then provided to the client in the required format of their choice, such as; EPS, PDF, JPG, GIF etc and we may also include the source files (dependent on the artworks complexity). These designs can then be used on their website or marketing materials and can be used for any type of high quality printing.
Full copyright of the final work is given handed right over to you following the receipt of payment.
